Roles
Real Estate Sales Jobs
Real estate sales offers the highest earning potential in the industry and the least income certainty. Most successful agents spend their first years as an associate or cadet building a database before carrying a list of their own.
We recruit sales staff for agencies across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney at every level.
The realistic path
- Sales Cadet — prospecting, database and administrative support
- Sales Associate — supporting a lead agent through campaigns
- Sales Agent — carrying your own listings and clients
- Lead Agent or Sales Manager — team leadership and mentoring
What to check before joining an agency
Ask about the split, whether leads are provided, who owns the database, what marketing support exists and how long current associates have been there. Commission structure matters less than whether the office actually generates opportunity.
Sales support careers
Sales administration, contracts administration and campaign coordination are stable, salaried alternatives for people who like the sales environment without the income variability.
Common questions
- Is real estate sales commission-only?
- Some roles are, particularly at agent level. Cadet and associate roles usually offer a base salary.
- How long before I can list?
- Commonly one to three years as an associate, depending on the market and the support you receive.
- Can I move from property management into sales?
- Yes, and the client-handling experience helps — but be prepared for the income change during the transition.
